Stretch your creativity and harness the power of teamwork in a battle for survivor supremacy as Singleton Council hosts the first ever Singleton Community Survival Challenge on Monday 14 October.
In what promises to be a fun and exciting evening of entertainment, everyone’s being encouraged to form a team or register as an individual to participate in the free event – and the chance to win $1,000 for their favourite not-for-profit organisation, registered charity or sporting club that services the Singleton community thanks to Thiess.
Masters of Fun have been called in to design a program of fun and exciting activities for all fitness levels, abilities and ages for everyone to test their ultimate survival skills and overcome a range of obstacles to take out the title of Singleton Survivor champion at Singleton Civic Centre.
The event is part of Singleton Council’s Access and Inclusion Program, funded by the NSW Government’s Resources For Regions Round Nine and sponsored by Thiess.
Kerrie Howells, Thiess Senior Advisor – Community, Diversity + Inclusion NSW said the event was a fun and creative way to showcase the diversity of skills, expertise and talents that exist in the community.
“We think this is a wonderful way to bring people of all abilities together from across our community to work towards a common goal to support the clubs and organisations that support us,” she said.
The Singleton Community Survivor Challenge will be held at Singleton Civic Centre on Monday 14 October 2024 at 5.15pm. For more information or to register, visit www.singleton.nsw.gov.au/survivor or head to Singleton Council’s Facebook page. |
