@ The Coalface is a free industry and community magazine published in separate NSW and Queensland editions.
We cover mining news and issues alongside stories about the people, workplaces, businesses and communities connected to the industry. We also cover health, safety, community, sport, travel and the issues affecting the regions where mining operates.
Our NSW edition has been part of mining communities for more than a decade, with our Queensland edition launched in 2022. Together, 30,000 free magazines are distributed every month, supported by our website, newsletter, social media and podcast.
@ The Coalface has established relationships with the NSW Minerals Council, Queensland Resources Council, Minerals Council of Australia, Mining & Energy Union, Coal Australia, WIMnet NSW, WIMARQ, government, industry bodies, mine representatives, suppliers, community organisations and training and education providers.
These relationships help us stay connected to what is happening across the industry and the communities around it.
A dedicated NSW publication with editorial focused on NSW mining, people, suppliers, communities and industry issues. Each month, 15,000 print copies are distributed directly to mine sites, mining and supplier offices and key mining communities throughout the Hunter, Gunnedah Basin, Mudgee region and Central Coast, with additional copies mailed to mine sites and corporate offices outside our regular distribution areas.
A dedicated Queensland publication with editorial focused on Queensland mining, people, suppliers, communities and industry issues. Each month, 15,000 print copies are distributed directly to mine sites, mining and supplier offices and communities across the Bowen Basin and Central Queensland, with additional copies mailed to mine sites and corporate offices outside our regular distribution areas.
