Mt Arthur Coal supported this year’s national Wear It Purple Day on August 27.

The Mt Arthur Coal site-based Inclusion and Diversity team sold specially designed purple hard hats to “start the conversation” around sexual orientation and gender diversity with talks and presentations at pre-starts which aim to make Mt Arthur Coal a more welcoming and inclusive workplace for all. 

Purchase of the hard hats raised $1,500 for the Wear It Purple organisation in support of fostering safe, empowering and inclusive environments for LGBTI youth.
