In 2024, over 2,000 new mining and energy workers joined the Mining and Energy Union (MEU), standing together to improve pay and conditions in their workplaces. This remarkable growth reflects the impact of our Same Job, Same Pay campaign, which has already delivered over $25 million in annual pay increases for coal miners, with hundreds of millions more on the horizon.

With the MEU’s unwavering support, members can confidently refuse unsafe work conditions, knowing their union is there to protect them.
