The QCCS Mackay Cutters have announced Stanmore Resources as the official Cutters Care Delivery Partner for the next 12 months, supporting the club’s education, wellbeing and community engagement programs across the Mackay and Isaac regions.
The partnership will help bring Cutters Care programs into schools throughout the Isaac region, giving students access to leadership, wellbeing and educational initiatives designed to build confidence, resilience and positive life skills.
Through visits to Moranbah, Nebo, Coppabella, Valkyrie and surrounding areas, the program will use the power of sport to connect with and inspire young people across regional communities.
Mackay Cutters Chief Executive Officer Dave Roberts said the partnership would strengthen the club’s ability to deliver meaningful outcomes beyond rugby league.
“Cutters Care is about using the profile and influence of our club to make a positive difference in the communities we represent,” said Dave.
“Through education, wellbeing and engagement programs, we can connect with young people and deliver messages that help shape positive futures.

Cutters Care sessions delivered through the partnership will focus on leadership, resilience, healthy lifestyles, respectful relationships, goal setting and positive decision-making, helping young people develop skills that support success both in and beyond the classroom. The partnership has commenced with school engagement activities scheduled throughout the year.
