Every December, the Complete Parts and @ The Coalface $500 Community Gift goes towards making sure no family goes without at Christmas.
Since 2017, Complete Parts & Equipment Solutions has been running its Christmas Giving Tree initiative. General Manager Craig Tanzer said it all started when owners Sean and Felicity Dyson saw a real need in the community and wanted to do something to help.
“The aim of the Christmas Giving Tree is to make sure families in our community who are doing it tough can still have a Christmas full of laugher and joy,” said Craig.
“It’s something the entire team here at Complete Parts gets behind and I’m really proud of their generosity and the effort they put in every single year.”
Thanks to the kindness of the team at Complete Parts and the members of the community who pop in and donate, the Complete Parts foyer could be mistaken for Santa’s workshop. Before Christmas these toys will be given to the Singleton Neighbourhood Centre where they will put into hampers with food and other items that will help make Christmas magical for hundreds of families.
Chairperson of Singleton Neighbourhood Centre Sue George said she was grateful for the continued support from Complete Parts & Equipment Solutions.
“We greatly appreciate the efforts they put into this initiative,” Sue said.
“Every year demand increases and we see more and more families with children that are experiencing economic difficulty. This year we will put together more than 300 hampers to assist families and to help make sure their Christmas is special.”
Help this fantastic initiative by donating gifts or non-perishable food items that can be used in the hampers. Drop off your gifts at Complete Parts before December 8th and spread some Christmas cheer. You’ll find them on Magpie Street at Maison Dieu, Singleton. |
