BRIKEN Group have come on board as a Major Sponsor for the Muswellbrook District Rugby League Club, Mini Mods division.

Starting in a family garage in Muswellbrook in 2017 with just two employees, BRIKEN Group has grown from two electricians to a team of over 25 with a combined experience of over 30 years in the Mining and Construction industry.

From humble beginnings, BRIKEN Group now offers a diverse range of services across the Hunter Valley and wider NSW including working in multiple mines and maintaining heavy equipment.

Managing Director, Shannon Foster said his main focus has always been forging strong relationships with the local community whilst also striving for growth in the business. This led to the business’s recent sponsorship of the Muswellbrook District Rugby League Club, Mini Mods division.

“We are extremely proud to announce that this year we are a Major Sponsor for the Mini Mods division,” said Shannon.

Sport is at the heart of the community here in Regional NSW, especially in the younger generations. By sponsoring team sports such as Rugby League, BRIKEN Group hope to see local sports continue to provide a fun way for kids to build upon their social skills such as teamwork, communication, problem solving and relationship building.

Shannon has been volunteering for the local Club as a Coach for the past 3 years and is this year coaching the Under 8’s Blue & Gold teams.

“It has been really rewarding watching them develop not only their football skills, but also their friendships on and off the field,” said Shannon.

“They are a great bunch of kids and it’s good to be able to be a part of getting them outdoors and keeping active.”

BRIKEN Group have signed on to be a Major Sponsor for the next 3 years with the Club and hope to continue that support in the future.
