The Key Solutions Group and M & P Services 7th Annual Charity Golf Day is set for September 2, 2022 at the Mackay regions premier golf course.
Since its inception in 2016, the Annual Charity Golf Day event has raised over $100,000 for a range of local charities. With last year’s event raising a record $39,000, this year, the organisers Max Lamb Jr and Kim Tower, with the support and participation of local business owners and employees, are aiming to beat that figure all in the name of charity.
The 2022 event will be opened by Mackay Mayor Greg Williamson for a great day of golf to raise funds for this year’s beneficiaries – Mackay Cutters ‘Change the Game’, Mackay Surf Life Savers, Broken Ballerina, RACQ CQ Rescue and Ronald McDonald House Mackay.
Event organiser Max Lamb Jnr and Marketing Manager for M&P Services, Kim Tower are looking forward to hosting the event, with hopes to raise $45,000 for local charities.
“The event was established in the last downturn to provide support for local organisations that had sponsorships and donations declined due to the economic impact from the downturn,” said Max Jnr.
“Our motto is “the funds stay local”.
“The day is all about having a great time and raising much needed funds for local charities with loads of fun to be had throughout the day including golf, good times with good people, team prizes, a memorabilia auction and a massive raffle.”
Networking amongst local business leaders and colleagues have underpinned the events success year after year.
“This year’s event has sold out along with sponsorships. We continue to look at ways to include more participants each year,” said Kim.
“If you’d like to get involved, please email marketing@mpservices.net.au to make a donation – we can’t wait to see you all there.”
