This month we’ve commenced a major new advertising campaign to provide the community with information on how we mine responsibly in NSW, for today and tomorrow.

Our ‘Mining responsibly, for today and tomorrow’ campaign is now on air on television and radio across NSW, with more to come in the months ahead.

The campaign will inform people about what we mine in NSW and what it is used for, how we mine and restore land, and how metals mined in NSW are needed for the future, including for solar panels, electric vehicles, wind farms and battery storage.

Using real people working in mining, and real examples of best practice, our campaign will help improve public understanding of just how important mining is for our way of life now and in the future, while also demonstrating the many ways we mine responsibly.

We also hope the information and examples provided in our campaign will encourage more people to consider a career in mining.
