The upcoming International Mining and Resources Conference + Expo (IMARC) is set to return to the ICC Sydney from 21-23 October 2025, reaffirming its status as Australia’s largest and most influential mining event. IMARC has become the go-to gathering for the global mining industry, and this year it is more accessible than ever.
Each year, IMARC brings together thousands of decision-makers, technical experts, and innovators from across the mining value chain, and the 2025 event is set to break new ground with a major expansion of the free Mining Guest Pass, extending opportunities to even more professionals working at the frontline of mining operations.
“IMARC serves as a vital platform where industry professionals can come together to explore innovative solutions, exchange knowledge, and drive the industry forward,” said Sherene Asnasyous, IMARC’s Event Director for Content and Partnerships.
“We are thrilled to announce the expansion of the free Mining Guest Pass for 2025, opening doors to more onsite personnel essential for operational excellence.”
The Mining Guest Pass now welcomes on-the-ground workers in mining companies and contract miners with key roles in operations, technology implementation, procurement, asset management, or site supervision. This pass offers exclusive access to the six-stream conference, CPD accredited sessions, networking receptions, guided expo tours, delegate lounge, catering, and the Traxys Connect Meeting Platform.
“Our goal is to offer attendees a comprehensive experience that not only showcases the latest technologies but also fosters collaboration and knowledge exchange. IMARC 2025 presents a unique opportunity for mining professionals to upskill, witness innovations firsthand, and network with industry leaders,” added Sherene.
New for 2025, the Mining Operators Series is tailored for operators, engineers, supervisors, and managers across all stages of mine development and production.
Included with the Mining Guest Pass, the series offers practical insights into advanced technologies, operational optimisation, productivity enhancements, and exclusive networking events to forge valuable connections within the industry – all while earning CPD points.

One of the highlights of IMARC is the lineup of 500 exhibitors showcasing the latest in mining innovation and technology. Industry leaders such as Hexagon, IMDEX, Schneider Electric, FLSmidth, Epiroc, Sandvik, Metso, and Weir will return, alongside brand new exhibitors bp/Castrol, SEL Australia, Gilbarco Veeder-Root, Hitachi Wenco, Wabtec, and more, who will be on hand to demonstrate their cutting-edge products and solutions.
The conference program will feature more than 550 expert speakers across six streams, all centred around the 2025 theme: “Strengthening Supply Chains, Optimising Costs, and Driving Productivity”. Delegates will explore pressing topics including operational efficiency, business resilience, and emerging technologies.
Further enhancing the experience, the VIP Hosted Buyer Program will connect key decision makers from mining companies and contractors with leading exhibitors through guided tours and one-on-one meetings.
With an anticipated attendance of over 10,000 industry professionals from 120+ countries, IMARC 2025 is set to be a truly global event that offers unmatched networking opportunities, knowledge sharing, and business collaborations. Delegates can take advantage of daily networking receptions and use the Traxys IMARC Connect platform to pre-schedule meetings with peers and solution providers.
