Get the family to Muswellbrook Showground on Saturday October 22 for a great day out at the Bengalla Community Open Day.
Bengalla, along with their valued suppliers and community partners have put together a jam-packed day of events for this year’s Bengalla Community Open Day.
From 10am to 2pm sit back, relax and enjoy some live entertainment featuring Kyda Rock and Shyanne Irwin while the kids wear themselves out on the children’s activities. With a jumping castle, face painting, baby animals, pass the ball and putt putt golf there’s plenty for everyone to enjoy.
Many of Bengalla’s valued business partners will be attending with heavy equipment on display including cranes, engines, tyres, trucks and even a mini dozer. Plus there will be plenty of hands-on activities including a dress like a miner photo booth and remote control car racing.
A popular part of the day is the Bengalla Mine bus tour where you can go behind the scenes and visit the mine. Tours depart every 15 minutes from the Showground with bookings essential on the day. Children must 5 years of age or older for the bus tour and a parent or guardian must accompany children under 12 years old. Don’t forget enclosed shoes are essential if you are planning on taking the tour.
Bengalla would love for everyone to come and join them for a great day out. Stay for lunch and enjoy a complimentary burger or BBQ lunch, cold drink, coffee and ice cream.
Bengalla General Manager Cam Halfpenny said, “The Bengalla Community Open Day is about opening our doors so that the community can get to know a bit more about us, what we do and our contribution to be part of our local community.
“We are long term members of the Upper Hunter and are committed to the future of this rich and diverse region. This event is a great opportunity for us to engage with our community and allows our employees who live in the area to show their families and friends what they do.”
“Many of Bengalla’s vendors and community partners will be a part of the day and we thank them for their ongoing support of Bengalla and this region. PCYC Muswellbrook, Westpac Rescue Helicopter, Where There’s a Will, Warrior Disability and Upper Hunter Motoring Association are some of the many who will be joining us on the day. There will be something for the whole family to enjoy. We look forward to seeing you.”
