When it comes to the Singleton community and giving,
there is one lady that is synonymous – Di Sneddon, and
she’s done it again!
During the month we had one of the guys from the pit call in to tell us about
his recent interaction with Di and how she is always going above and beyond.
They didn’t have to convince us here in the office as we already know Di is a
fantastic asset to our community.
Most recently, Di donated her entire payment of $2640 from the Upper Hunter
Mining Dialogue back to the community, this time to the Singleton Heights
Basketball Association. Mark Cox from the Association told us about the
difference the money will make.
“We are forever grateful. Di is an absolute gem and that money will go a long
way towards our junior development and a portion will go towards assisting us
raise money for an outdoor basketball court that the whole community will be
able to utilise.” Mark said.
Di, take a bow. You are certainly a valued community member and its
contributions to community groups from individuals like you that helps our
communities prosper.
