With October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, this edition we are proud to highlight the fantastic work of the McGrath Foundation.
One in seven women in Australia will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime however breast cancer affects everyone, not just the person diagnosed. Whether you’re a man or a woman, protecting boobs should be your mission.
The McGrath Foundation’s mission is to ensure every family experiencing breast cancer has the support of a Breast Care Nurse. However, the work they do wouldn’t be possible without people supporting them.
When it comes to supporting fantastic organisations and worthy causes our industry takes the cake. This edition we have Red Hot Couriers Group aiming to raise $50,000 for the Cancer Council, Compressed Air and Power Solutions (CAPS) supporting the MACA Cancer 200 Ride for Research, QCoal Foundation partnering with Act for Kids to expand crucial therapy services in regional and remote Queensland, and Gary Sinclair and Mat Whitson, two mates who started ‘Tradies Support the Ladies’ to raise awareness of breast cancer.
And that’s just the icing.
