What Matters Most
The spotlight this month is on the wellbeing of our industry and there is nothing more important than that.
From a record number of attendees at the Queensland Mining Industry Health and Safety Conference, to Glencore’s Rolleston Open Cut providing free skin check clinics, to CQUniversity’s study into sleep and shift work, the commitment our industry has to the wellbeing of its people is unmistakable.
This month we attended Paul Spinks’ hard hitting presentation at Glencore’s Collinsville Open Cut. ‘The Wake Up Call’ challenges people to reevaluate their perspectives and asks a question we should all stop and consider, “What are you worried about that just doesn’t matter?”
It is an important reminder that you should make the most of every single day because you never know what tomorrow holds.
