Moranbah Miners Junior Rugby League’s U8 and U9 teams delivered outstanding performances at the Mini Mods program hosted by the North Queensland Cowboys. As a prelude to the Cowboys versus Knights game on April 22, these young athletes showcased their talents and created lasting memories at Queensland Country Bank Stadium.

In the Anzac round spirit, the U8’s faced the Herbert River Junior Crushers, while the U9’s took on Townsville Norths. With commendable sportsmanship, these aspiring players garnered attention and admiration from spectators.

The Cowboys Community Team’s Mini Mods program allowed the U8 and U9 teams to play on the same field as their NRL heroes, delighting both the participants and the large audience. Queensland Country Bank Stadium unveiled its exclusive areas to the young athletes, heightening their excitement.
