From Moranbah local Andy Suthers who volunteers his time and resources to helping out his community, to Gold Coast based engineer and FIFO worker Lydia Gentle who won the prestigious BHP Women in Resources National award, to Adrian Vowles who bravely shares his mental health journey in the hopes of helping others, it goes to show no matter who you are or what you do, everyone has the power to make a difference.
Whether it’s on large scale like Glencore who have invested more than $100 million through their community investment program, or on a smaller scale like the ELAM Food for thought program that makes sure students in Coppabella and Moranbah have healthy meals while at school, we are so fortunate to have so many people and companies striving to make our communities the best they can be.
