Moorefield Plant Repairs began operations in 2003 by founder Tony Moore. Tony has lived in Singleton all his life, obtaining over 32 years in the local mining industry.
Tony opened Moorefield Plant Repairs as he strived to deliver a professional repair and servicing facility for the mines and agricultural businesses in the surrounding area.
Moorefield Plant Repairs has been running now for over 18 years and is currently operating with 21 employees, consisting of mechanical and auto electrical tradespersons, apprentices and administration staff.
Moorefield Plant Repairs employed its first apprentice in 2004, since then we have trained over 25 apprentices achieving to complete their 4-year apprenticeship and obtain their tradesmen certificate. At Moorefield Plant Repairs, we often take on board work placement students from surrounding high schools, we love watching these young adults learn and grow while becoming more passionate in our field of work. We also work with local mine sites and welcome their apprentices into our workshop for them to gain knowledge and experience with rebuilding of Earthmoving, Mining Machinery, and Components.
