This month, DGI Trading has unveiled the expansion of their in-house operator station rebuild facility.
Building on their in-house range of services for mining and construction equipment operator stations, DGI are pleased to expand upon their existing delivery capacity to further expedite and streamline demand.
“We’re currently delivering cabs to meet increasing demand in the hunter region, which has allowed us to invest further in streamlining our production and delivery process” explains Gerard Dillon, Operations Manager, DGI Trading.
DGI’s specialist service offering coupled with proximity to the Hunter Valley, means OEM-standard refurbished, faster.
“We are currently putting the finishing touches on our new, custom paint bay, specifically designed for cabs. Combined with the addition of several specialist team members focused solely on cabs, we’re now able to deliver professionally finished cabs faster than ever”.
All of DGI’s cab refurbishments follow a standardised process, aligned to OEM standards that include:
Disassembly and inspection of cab components to bare shell
Full Sandblast of cab
ROPS recertification
2 Pac paint internally and externally
Function Testing of cab
DGI have the specialisation to rebuild operator stations for all major OEM brands, including Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi and O&K.
“The global uncertainty experienced last year has highlighted the necessity to lower operational costs, giving DGI the advantage of being a cost-effective alternative in the supply of OEM components and machinery. The strain on global logistics experienced throughout the back half of last year has given DGI an opportunity to leverage our agility, particularly with operations such as those located within the Hunter Valley”.
