More severe thunderstorms bringing large hail and damaging winds are predicted to hit parts of south-east Queensland on Wednesday, with continued rainfall forecast for Brisbane as the system moves off the coast.
The Bureau of Meteorology issued a severe weather warning for Rainbow Beach and Tiaro, north-east of Gympie, late Wednesday morning.
Damaging winds and large hailstones are likely in the area in the afternoon.
