Victorias run of more than 50 days without a locally acquired coronavirus case has come to an end.
A man returning from Western Australia tested positive for COVID-19 about 2am on Friday, Health Minister Martin Foley said.

He had served two weeks in hotel quarantine in Perth where he was in an adjacent room to a confirmed case. It is currently unclear where he had travelled from to require quarantine.
