NSW floods 2021: BOM warns that Taree River could reach levels of 1978 floodings – 7NEWS.com.au
Experts have warned that the river will swell to levels which haven’t been seen for more than 40 years.
An entire house has been washed away amid flooding and heavy rainfall in NSWs mid-north coast.
As can be seen in the video below, a house complete with patio was spotted floating down the Manning River in Taree on Saturday afternoon.
The devastating video also shows trees half submerged as the river swells to levels that havent been seen for 40 years.
The footage comes as the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) issued an evacuation order for Taree residents as they warn of major flooding in the area.
