The Australian share market is trading down, despite jobs figures that show the nation is surpassing predictions.
At 12:45pm, the ASX 200 was down 0.3 per cent to 6,778.
The benchmark had closed down (-0.5pc) on Wednesday.
The latest ABS jobs figures showed Australia’s unemployment rate fell to 5.8 per cent in February, down from 6.3 per cent.
That was far beyond CBA analyst predictions this morning that the unemployment rate would just fall marginally to 6.2 per cent.
