The ACT Government has lifted COVID-19 travel restrictions for parts of Sydney along with the Central Coast, Wollongong and the Blue Mountains, but much of Sydney will remain a hotspot area.
Before the announcement, non-residents coming from Greater Sydney and its surrounding areas had needed an exemption to enter the ACT, while residents had to isolate at home for 14 days upon their return.
