Passengers escape before bus destroyed by fire at Glebe – Sydney Morning Herald

Firefighters were called to Parramatta Road at 6pm, where they found a bus well alight.

Connor Wherrett, from Glebe, was on a bus heading in the opposite direction when it stopped and he wondered what was going on.
“There was just a bus flaming on fire,” he said. “When I saw it, it was just police stopping the street, and then about five minutes later a fire truck.”
Twelve firefighters responded.
Superintendent Unsworth said they were expected to remain there for several hours, which is likely to cause traffic delays.
