Second international traveller charged in less than a week for attempting to ‘walk out’ of Perth hotel quarantine – Sydney Morning Herald

Dyllan Jake Shipp, 25, landed at Perth Airport from Dubai on Boxing Day after receiving an exemption to return home to Australia after working overseas.



Shipp, who usually lives in South Australia, was charged with failing to comply with a direction under the Emergency Management Act and taken to the Perth watchhouse.
The 25-year-old appeared in Perth Magistrates Court on Friday and was released on bail.
He has since been transferred to a high-security quarantine facility, where he will remain until his next court appearance on January 11.
