‘Consider staying here’: CHO warns Queenslanders to rethink travel plans – Brisbane Times

Both states again tightened restrictions around gathering sizes, with Victoria closing its border to the whole of NSW from 11.59pm on January 1.
Western Australia will close itself off to Victoria itself from 1am on Friday.
South Australia will do so for travellers from NSW from 12.01am.
Dr Young said she was closely monitoring the situation in NSW and Victoria.
“I’m urging Queenslanders travelling to these states to reassess their plans if it is not necessary, then consider staying here,” she said…
