Queensland hoon drivers put on notice as police roll out new hi-tech cameras – 9News
The new cameras allow police to watch from afar and collect crystal clear images of number plates and the faces of drivers.
One camera will be given to each of Queensland’s 15 police districts and new legislation will be implemented to make hoon offences similar to speed offences.”The registered owner of the vehicle is deemed to be the driver of the vehicle unless they can prove otherwise,” Queensland Police Minister Mark Ryan said.
