Woman dies after climbing over safety barrier at popular Grampians lookout – The Age

The 38-year-old Craigieburn woman died at the lookout near Halls Gap in Victoria’s north-west on Saturday afternoon.



Her death is not being treated as suspicious and police will prepare a report for the coroner.
Boroka Lookout has become a popular spot with travellers because of its spectacular views, with the tourist attraction making headlines after a man was filmed performing a backflip on a cliff ledge last year.
Police in the Northern Grampians lambasted those trying to get “selfies” at the lookout with “individuals risking life and limb” and “constantly tying up our resources”.
