“The people in the United Kingdom, we allege, sourced the quantity of MDMA, concealed it and exported it,” Australian Federal Police Assistant Commissioner eastern command Justine Gough said.
“We alleged that it was consigned to an auction house and purchased by a man in Sydney and that arrangement was in place in an effort to avoid law enforcement attention.”
Police will allege that man was Sydney construction worker Tony Maaz, who allegedly purchased the excavator believing the drugs were concealed…
