South Australian radio host Stephen Rowe has broken down on air when recalling the moment his son James was drafted by the Adelaide Crows.
Speaking on Adelaide’s FIVEaa, Rowe explained how his son was left devastated when Carlton passed on him with the 37th pick in the draft, only for the Crows to select him with the next pick.
“Carlton was pick 37 and he walked out of the lounge room, went into his bedroom and shut the door and he couldn’t even hear it,” he said.
