We’ve been hearing a lot about mail-in voting in the run-up to the US election, with states expanding their mail-in capacity as a response to the coronavirus pandemic.
While there’s no evidence to suggest expanded mail-in voting will lead to an increase in voter fraud, the nature of mail-in voting makes it more susceptible to what Americans call ballot spoilage.
