Police release ‘dog act’ footage of glassing attack in Sydney restaurant – Sydney Morning Herald

A 23-year-old was sitting with a friend at a restaurant in Thomas Street when he was approached from behind by an unknown man holding a beer bottle.



The injured man was taken to St Vincents Hospital where he received 14 stitches to his head.
Eight months later, police have released new CCTV footage of the incident, taken within the restaurant.
“It’s a dog act, to put it bluntly,” Detective Inspector David El-Badawi told 2GB on Wednesday morning, noting the victim was still experiencing headaches from the incident.
