Parts of Queensland’s east coast are being warned to prepare for another day of “nasty” storms that have the potential to whip up destructive winds, intense rainfall and giant hail.
The Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) said severe thunderstorms could stretch from the south-east corner into northern parts of Queensland today.
“You’re talking the trifecta large hail, damaging winds and heavy rainfall,” BOM forecaster Felim Hanniffy said.
