Justis Huni delivered on his hype on Thursday night as he downed Australian Heavyweight Champion Faiga ‘Django’ Opelu in his professional debut.

The 21-year-old is the first Australian to win a title belt, in any weight division, on debut.
He did so in Brisbane by stunning Samoan-born Opelu, whose corner threw in the towel midway through the seventh round. His record is now 13-2-1.
Huni is 1-0-0 and looked a cut above Opelu for much of the fight, dominating most if not all rounds before stepping up the intensity to win by TKO in the seventh.
