On Saturday, within 24 hours of the agreement coming into effect, 17 people flew from Sydney to Melbourne after arriving from New Zealand.
Mr McGowan on Sunday said the 23 arrivals into Perth were unexpected and called for better management from federal government with taking in overseas travellers.
Managing people from overseas coming into the state is difficult, he said.
We would like further assistance from the Commonwealth, in particular about making sure those people who come on aircraft…
