A group of Victorian lawyers have launched a formal request for the Fines Victoria director to oversee the police forces internal review process of COVID-19 infringements.After months of frustration at trying to challenge fines where legal experts believed there was “merit” for a withdrawal but getting nowhere, a coalition of Community Legal Centres has asked the director to step in and oversee the process.
