NRL legend Paul Gallen has slammed anyone pressuring Newcastle Knights star Kalyn Ponga to play this year’s State of Origin series despite injury concerns.
Ponga was one of 15 players named in Wayne Bennett’s Queensland squad on Wednesday evening, and will consult with a surgeon on his final availability this week.
