Mourners pay respects to Ruth Bader Ginsburg at US Supreme Court – Sydney Morning Herald

Hundreds of people lined up outside the court for a chance to pay their respects to the pioneering women’s rights advocate, who died on Friday at the age of 87.

Dozens of black-clad former clerks lined the steps of the grand marble building as Supreme Court police officers delivered her casket to the Great Hall, where justices traditionally have been remembered.
All eight justices, plus retired Justice Anthony Kennedy and Maureen Scalia, the wife of Ginsburg’s friend the late Justice Antonin Scalia, wore face masks.
