‘Absolutely livid’: Curtis Scott to take action against police in body-cam video – Sydney Morning Herald

Five police assault charges against Scott were withdrawn by police in Downing Centre Local Court on Wednesday, after body-worn footage revealed the Canberra centre was unlawfully handcuffed at Moore Park on January 27.



Scott was arrested after falling asleep under a tree following an Australia Day party at the Ivy. Police were called to the scene by a security guard at the SCG and later pepper-sprayed the 22-year-old.
He was subsequently charged with seven offences, including the assault of two police officers.
