In the face of another shocking act of police brutality, American sportspeople showed extraordinary courage, leading the way, manifesting outrage in a manner guaranteed to garner global attention.



But how lucky are we to live in a country where this is the most violent police action we have seen on our screens in recent days?
Compare that to what happened in America at much the same time.
