Casual workers in SA to get $1500 paid pandemic leave
Casual workers will be able to receive up to $1500 in paid pandemic leave under a new South Australian government scheme.The funding will help workers who must self-isolate or care for someone else needing to quarantine for 14 days and do not receive JobKeeper or JobSeeker payments.
To qualify, a person must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or hold a necessary visa over the age of 17. They must also be able to demonstrate they would have ordinarily worked.
