Convicted conman Peter Foster will be extradited to New South Wales after his arrest on a north Queensland beach yesterday over an alleged international sports trading scam.
The 57-year-old was walking his dogs on Four Mile beach at Port Douglas at 9:00am on Thursday when officers swooped and handcuffed him on the sand.
After spending a night in custody at the Cairns watchhouse, Mr Foster this morning faced an extradition hearing at the Cairns Magistrates Court.
