Three killed in overnight Gold Coast crash take weekend toll to five – Brisbane Times

Emergency services rushed to the “confronting” scene in Upper Coomera, with three people trapped in the wreckage and bystanders trying to help those injured.

The driver of the second vehicle, a 28-year-old man, was also taken to the hospital in a serious condition. Queensland Ambulance Service said the man had suffered head, chest, pelvic and leg injuries.
