New Zealand cases rise as possible Melbourne link investigated – The Sydney Morning Herald
New Zealand has confirmed seven new coronavirus cases, with six of those people linked to the Auckland cluster and the seventh case under investigation.
The source of the NZ outbreak has not been determined by officials.
NZ Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said on Friday the earliest case identified was a worker at an Americold storage facility in Mt Wellington, Auckland, who became sick on July 31 though that person might not be the origin of the outbreak.
