South Australian aged care workers will need to wear masks and personal protective equipment when looking after residents under new COVID-19 restrictions.
As of August 27, all doctors, nurses, allied health professionals and personal care providers will be required to wear PPE when they come within 1.5m of a resident.
All personal care workers will also not be allowed to work at more than one aged care facility under the new rules.
