COVID-19 closures may cause childcare centres to fold, industry warns – The Age

Dozens of early learning centres in Victoria have closed due to infections or as a precaution, and it is feared many will not reopen unless the federal government steps up financial support.



Meanwhile, the non-profit centre is losing thousands of dollars a day. Ms Lynch said that with no indication when her centre would reopen, nor how many families would return when it does, it was too soon to tally the full financial hit.
