New areas of Sydney warned to be alert for symptoms as Victoria marks worst day – Sydney Morning Herald

New cases have been linked to a prison, schools, and more cases added to clusters as NSW recorded 18 cases.

On Thursday evening people who attended three more venues, Harpoon and Hotel Harry in Surry Hills, Tan Viet restaurant in Cabramatta and Matinee Coffee in Marrickville were directed to self-isolate for 14 days and get tested if they develop symptoms, after they were visited by confirmed cases.
As more restaurants, a gym, a prison, and several schools were linked to cases, NSW Health asked people in parts of Sydney to be on high alert for symptoms.
