More signs COVID-19 leaves long-lasting mark on the heart – Sydney Morning Herald

A new study adds to existing evidence that COVID-19 may have long-term effects on heart health, even in relatively young people with only mild illness.



“Whatever way you look at it, this is not good news,” said Professor Bob Graham, founding executive director of the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute.
“This suggests there may be continued problems even after youve recovered from COVID.”
