Victoria has recorded its second-worst daily total of Covid-19 cases since the pandemic began, with 374 new infections and three deaths announced, but the states chief health officer, Prof Brett Sutton, said he was encouraged numbers are not increasing exponentially.
There has been a flattening, Sutton said on Tuesday. We are not seeing that exponential increase day by day. I think thats encouraging.
