The ACT’s Senior Australian of the Year and disability advocate Sue Salthouse is killed in an accident on Commonwealth Avenue Bridge.
Disability advocate Sue Salthouse, the ACT’s 2020 Senior Australian of the Year, has died in a motorcycle accident.
Ms Salthouse, 71, was riding her wheelchair accessible motorcycle when it was involved in an accident with a car on Commonwealth Avenue Bridge yesterday afternoon.
ACT Policing confirmed “the motorcycle rider was treated at the scene by ACT Ambulance Service Paramedics, however died at hospital”.
